Payment by Results
Risk allocation and pricing approaches, guidance note, published by the Government Commercial Function in May 2021 suggests that Payment by Results ( or outcome based contracting) is: ‘A variant on the volume-based payment mechanism but rather than the amount paid to the supplier varying by usage, the amount paid varies by outcome achieved by the supplier.’
